A Purple Robe

The crosses on the Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church lawn are to commemorate the event as described in John 19:2, "And the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head and arrayed him in a purple robe."

A crown of thorns will be added on Good Friday.
