Jesus Is the Reason

Jesus is the reason for the seaon
     He is God's gift of love;
Christmas without Him has no meaning;
     He is our redemption from above.


Jesus is the reason for the seaon
     Born in a manger bare;
Visited by the three Wise Men
     Who would the Good News share.

Jesus is the reason for the season
     Born to die for you and me;
The shadow of the Cross fell across His crib
     He came to set men free.

Jesus is the reason for the season
     Will you prepare Him a place -
Keep the glow of Christmas alive all year
     His love will show in your face.

Isaiah 53:11
